Currently, the municipal tax bureau has distributed the tax refund guide and electronic map at the "Beijing Service" service points at the airport and the convenience payment service centers for inbound foreign tourists, which are the first points of entry for tourists. Tourists can obtain convenient information as soon as they arrive. They are also distributed in key commercial areas and foreign-related hotels to accompany tourists throughout their travel and consumption.

Data shows that the number of departure tax refund stores in the city exceeds 1,000, ranking first in the country. In the first quarter of this year, the city's departure tax refund maintained a high growth trend, with the number of departure tax refund application forms issued increasing by 128% year-on-year; the sales of tax refund goods amounted to 270 million yuan, doubling compared to the same period last year. Among them, the sales of tax refund goods in key commercial areas such as the CBD and Wangfujing accounted for more than 90% of the city's total in the first quarter; the sales of tax refund goods such as traditional Chinese medicine, silk, and handicrafts from traditional "time-honored brand" stores increased by 28% year-on-year.
